Object
These general conditions define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the remote reservation of the proposed gîte and spa.
"There was a garden" located 3, rue du Lavoir in 16700 Salles-de-Villefagnan.
They govern all the steps necessary for the reservation and the follow-up of the reservation between the contracting parties. The customer acknowledges having read and accepted these general conditions of sale as well as the internal regulations and their appendices.

Location duration
This accommodation for 4 people is rented for a period defined during your reservation and indicated in your rental contract. Under no circumstances may a customer claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of this period. Likewise our animal friends are not allowed.

Reservation and payment
The reservation is effective after payment of the amount of the total stay.
Payments are made by credit card directly on the website.

Cancellation Policy
The cancellation of a reservation will only become effective after our confirmation by e-mail that it has been taken into account.
Any cancellation less than 15 days from the date of the beginning of the reserved stay entails the retention of the deposit paid and will not give rise to any compensation.
In case of no-show on the date of the stay, 100% of the amount of the stay is due.
In case of interruption of the current stay, 100% of the amount of the remaining stay is due.

The caution
On your arrival a security deposit of 500 € is requested. It will be returned to you, after inspection, after deduction of damage or breakage of equipment or the cost of restoring the premises if necessary.
If the amount of the deposit is insufficient, the tenant agrees to complete the sum after the exit inventory.
On your arrival you will be given:
A bunch of keys as well as the rules of procedure, its appendices and an inventory to sign.

Mandatory insurance
The tenant is obliged to take out rental civil liability protection called " VILLEGIATURE " insuring all the premises entrusted to him, for damage such as fire, explosion, water damage which could be caused by himself or by its hosts during the rental period. A certificate of insurance drawn up in the name of the tenant must imperatively be attached to the rental contract.
